CV OF EM Riem

EM RIEM

Born 1977 in Kandal province, Cambodia

LA GALERIE X-EM Design is the place where I have been developing my painting and designing activities in the year following seven years’ training in design at the School of Fine Arts of Saint-Etienne and then at the National School of Decorative Arts of Paris.
Before this I obtained a National Diploma in Plastic Arts from the Royal University of Fine Arts of Phnom Penh.
This double training allows me to devote myself to painting and design, to show my exhibitions regularly in my own style. I like abstract as well as figurative work, and to create contemporary furniture and decors for both public and private places. I work on commission but my creations can also be seen at LA GALERIE X-EM Design or in other places when particular exhibitions are being held.
